The CALTF closing ceremony in Faßberg

On 29 July, a grand closing ceremony was held by the three Western Allies in Faßberg, during which they paid their respects to the victims of the airlift. High-ranking representatives of the US-British Combined Airlift Taskforce (CALTF) inspected the around 1,000 soldiers and airmen taking part in the parade. The ceremony ended with a flyover by American and British transport planes.
